She was the third worst bosses that I have ever seen - weak, incapable, lazy, inept, self-delusional and dumb. Frankly, really dumb. Coupled that with laziness, I honestly think if she ever quit from her current job, she might not survive in another company. Reading newspapers for a full morning, avoiding calls from her colleagues and pushing everything to her subordinate to do, she ranked the worst when it comes to staff welfare. She arranged all her schedule and leave according to her own convenience and I knew male bosses would not do anything about it because she waded around the office using her pregnancy as a fucking excuse. Duh.
Oh, and add one more threatening to staff not to resign nearer to her maternity leave. Guess what? I have my own valid reasons to resign right before she was gone and because I did a good job at completing a major project - she couldn't go around telling me I am was incompetent (hell, I even handled ALL the work perfectly by myself that no one goes to her anymore).
I was just pretty glad that on my last day, her big boss ignored her when he was talking happily with me about some stuff. At least she was made aware that the big boss was still ok with me. And I cleared ALL the administrative work before I left. So, so what if I leave then? Don't think it was worth covering the maternity leave for her.
What goes around comes around - that has been my mantra in life. When one, two, and me - the third person leave before a year under her (with me making very strong hints and giving concrete example to the HR director about her ineptness), it was clear that ground level staff knew she was shit. Just plain shit.
PS: And she cannot even work a laptop without mouse!!! How could someone at a senior level doesn't even know that to close a window you need to move your cursor and close it with the left click of the mousepad and NOT the "Delete" button???? Gosh, damn stupid.
